Percussion Unit

Adds the famous ‘B-3 type percussion’ sound to pre-B-3 Hammond Organ consoles. Mounts in place of the upper left hand end block. Utilizes Original Tube Preamplifier.

The TP-2B can be used on Hammond Organ Console Models:

A, AB, B, BA, BC, C, AV, BCV, BV, CV, DV, B-2, C-2, D, G, RT, RT-2

TP-2B PERCUSSION UNIT FEATURES:

• Three harmonics — Second, Third and Fifth
• Slide controls for each harmonic
• Slide Control allows fully adjustable decay rate

The TP-2B was designed to add Hammond B-3 style Percussion to older Hammond consoles which were manufactured before 1955 when Percussion was introduced. The TP-2B’s percussion slide control switch assembly is mounted in place of the original wooden upper manual left hand end block. The TP-2B features three independent slide controls for adjusting the level and mixture of percussion, and a fourth to control the amount of percussion decay. Unlike the B-3 with two Percussion Harmonic choices – Second and Third, the TP-2B adds the Fifth harmonic for even more expressive playing options!
