  synthesizers or other 1/4″ device.

  1/4″ phone jack inputs, one for
  “high level” audio input, one
  for “low level” audio input.

NOTE: The UC-1A will also function with
Leslie model 710 and 720 type cabinets if an
LCO-1 crossover is installed in the Leslie
speaker cabinet. The LCO-1 crossover is available
at extra cost.

MODEL LCO-1 CROSSOVER
(required for certain 2-channel
Leslie Models when used with UC-1A Pedal Preamp)

The LCO-1 Crossover allows older two-channel
Leslie speakers such as the 710 and 720
to function as single-channel Leslie cabinets
making them much more usable with a keyboard or
other single-channel instrument. Due to the
Roto-Sonic Speaker arrangement in these
particular Leslie models, they do not function
well with single-channel, full frequency range
audio as is normally found in most keyboards,
synths, modules, etc. due to very low bass being
routed to a small speaker in the Roto-Sonic drum.

The LCO-1 provides an active
crossover which keeps the lowest bass signals
(below 150 HZ) out of the rotary channel, where
it would be normally be handled by the Roto-Sonic
speaker. The low bass could cause damage to the
small rotosonic speaker, so it is routed instead
through the stationary channel to the 15″
bass speaker where it is properly reproduced.
