NEW
SOLID-STATE TECHNOLOGY THAT DELIVERS THE CLASSIC
HAMMOND SOUND, WITHOUT THE PROBLEMS OF EARLY TUBE
PREAMPS

The SSP-3 was designed as a direct solid-state
preamplifier replacement for original an AO-28
style “8-tube” preamp in B-3, C-3,
A-100, RT-3 and D-100 series organs. The SSP-3
also replaces earlier tonewheel organ console
organ pre-amps used in most standard Hammond tone
wheel consoles, and includes the circuitry to add
percussion (optional upgrade) to most early
console organs originally manufactured without
percussion. The SSP-3 has been carefully designed
to faithfully reproduce the tonal response and
features of the original B-3 style tube pre-amp.
As an added benefit, the SSP-3 includes a true
“high-gain” spring reverberation unit,
fully controllable, at no extra cost!

TP-3B PERCUSSION CONTROL
HEAD

Allows the built-in percussion circuitry of
the SSP-3 preamp to be utilized in older consoles
which did not have percussion. The TP-3B’s
percussion control switch assembly is mounted in
place of the original wooden upper manual left
hand end block. The Percussion Control Switch
assembly features the same four percussion switch
functions as the B-3.

AUXILIARY PREAMPLIFIER
INPUTS / OUTPUTS

Two keyboard or other 1/4″ inputs are
available, housed in a separate enclosure with
independent input jacks, output jacks and level
controls. These inputs may be used to play
keyboards, rhythm units, synths, etc. through the
attached organ speaker system (Leslie Speaker or
Hammond tone cabinet) or through their own
separate amplification system. The volume of
the devices is controlled by the volume pedal of
the organ. We suggest this option if you wish to
play keyboards through the Leslie or in
conjunction with the organ. Due to additional
preamp circuitry, this option cannot be added
later!

The A0-28-4 Solid-State Preamp was designed
ONLY to be installed in Hammond Organ Models:
A-100, B-3, C-3, D-100,
and RT-3

Designed for Premium
Performance

The AO-28-4 was
designed as a Premium Performance Solid-State
replacement preamp for aging original
“8-tube” AO-28 tube preamps in HAMMOND
organ console models B-3, C-3, A-100, D-100 and
RT-3. It utilizes the original Capacitive
Swell-Control from the organ to insure tube
preamp-like volume control, complete with the
tone shaping characteristics of the original
capacitive swell control.

The A0-28-4 will reproduce the tonal response
and features of the original B-3 style tube
pre-amp, and includes adjustable Bass, Treble and
Percussion level controls on the top of the
chassis. A 1/4″ Line out jack and volume
control are also mounted on the top of the
chassis.

TREK MODEL SSP-1B SOLID
STATE PREAMP

Fits Hammond Organ Models: A, AB, B, BA, BC, C, D, G
(Two modified SSP-1B Preamplifiers can be ordered
for preamp replacement in Model E organs)

The SSP-1B was designed as a direct
replacement solid-state preamplifier for the
“two tube” (#56-#57) preamplifier used
in very early Hammond organ consoles. The SSP-1B
cannot be upgraded with percussion.
