MODELS SC-60D-1 and SC-60D-2 FREQUENCY
CONVERSION UNITS

• A Frequency Conversion Unit is required
  to correctly operate 117 volt AC, 60 Hz
  (American version) HAMMOND Tonewheel
  Generator organs with other 117
  volt AC inputs from 25 Hz to 100
  Hz. The Model SC-60D-1 and SC-60D-2
  Frequency Conversion Units will convert a
  non-60 Hz frequency input to a stable 60
  Hz frequency for the tone wheel generator
  organ START and RUN motors. This allows
  the organ to play in tune even in
  countries where the available power line
  frequency is not 60 Hz or in locations
  where the power line frequency is not
  stable or accurate. Installation of the
  Frequency Conversion Unit does not
  require any additional equipment or
  changes in the original HAMMOND organ
  starting procedure.

  NOTE:
  The Frequency Conversion Unit does NOT
  “step-down”higher
  Voltage! In areas with 220 volts power, a
  step-down transformer or other means must
  first be used to drop the voltage to 117
  volts, prior to tie-in with the Frequency
  Converter Unit. We can also supply a
  step-down transformer at extra cost,
  however it is not normally included with
  either Frequency Conversion Unit.
